The Post-Lifers - Now on YouTube

After more than 20 festivals in 4 countries with 7 wins for Best (Short) Film, The Post Lifers is now available to the world.  I have blabbed on and on about this little movie, and for a short time, you can see it too (without enduring an entire horror/independent film festival).

This isn't going to be for everyone.  It has some amazing special effects so there is naturally an element of fake blood and gore.  One of the zombies is a former porn star so there is discussion of sex (although no actual sex nor nudity).  It is not scary, this is a comedy, but it's still in the horror genre.

And without further ado...

  1. I don't do blood and gore in any capacity, so I will just say "Yay it's up!" without partaking myself. I'm sure it's great though. :)

    1. I heard once that beer got better when they stopped trying to please everyone. If nobody didn't like it, then nobody really loved it. I see music and films like that, it's okay that some people don't like it and I'd rather be up front that it's not for everyone than have you watch it and be upset.
But if you do know someone who loves zombies.... they would probably love it. :)

  2. I'm so thrilled for you! Alas, I can't watch anything violent without getting nightmares. I can barely watch spy films much less horror, but I think this is terrific and I'm sure the movie is excellent. Will pass on the link.

    1. It's interviews, not violent or scary or even suspenceful. I only mention the blood/horror because there is a scene early in the film where they are eating and it's gross. They put out all kinds of fruit in red sauce for the actors to eat but they mostly decided to chew on latex. There is also a gun shot at the end that is a bit graphic.

I can't watch X-Files without pacing because I get nervous, I get it.

Thanks for passing on the link, that's the best way to help. :)

  3. Very good! I finally watched it. I found the beginning scenes a little stomach churning. Loved it, like the concept, Interview with the Zombie.

    1. Yay! I found it helpful to think "it's just latex, it's just latex..." the first time I saw it but after seeing it over and over, I'm pretty immune now. I'm so glad you liked it!

Thanks for your comments, I love to have a two way conversation. I seem to be getting a lot of spam from anonymous users and am turning off the ability to comment that way. I really would like to hear from you so if you do want to add your two cents without an OpenId, email me at seraphinalina at gmail dot com.
